Mapex P380 Chain-Drive Double-Bass Pedal Reviews 1

I bought this pedal from Musician's Friend.com for about 99 dollars on sale.

The only good thing about this pedal was that it is inexpensive. I like nothing else about this pedal.

The footboard is too small and has no friction to it. The chain's are cheap. The pedal beaters are decent, but top heavy which doesn't help the playability. The springs are lousy pieces of crap. The different screws and nuts and whatnot on the pedal loosen easily, and the rod which connects the two pedals comes off easily, unless it is put on super tight. The bearings get shot very quickly. I didn't even have this pedal for a year before it started to go to crap. Overall, this is a crappy pedal.

Crap, crap crap. The metal is weak, the springs suck, the whole pedal loosens easily, ehg... It's a peice of crap.

Don't buy this pedal. Mapex makes the worst pedals out of any company, and they arn't worth the money. If you are a beginner and want a low-end, cheap pedal... Then buy a Tama HP200TW or DW7000 Series double pedal.
